EGG DONATION:

Egg and embryo donation are forms of fertility treatment which can help couples who, in the past, would have been considered unable to conceive. With egg donation, eggs from a donor are fertilized with the male partner’s sperm in a laboratory dish, and the resulting embryos are transferred to the female partner’s uterus.

We at DIFC run an egg donation program and have active people who are ready for egg donation. This is a very useful treatment options for older women and women with ovarian failure. Its always good for you to choose a fresh Egg donor, then the freeze eggs. If you do not have any donor then we can help as we have the good database of donors who are ready to provide fresh eggs.

You also can place ads in India News paper or Online websites, classified for the egg donor. Many websites and agences have the ready donors available with them..

Procedure
The egg donation process consists of two phases.
In the first phase, ovarian hyper stimulation, donors receive a series of hormonal drugs which cause the ovaries to produce multiple mature eggs during one menstrual cycle.
During the second phase, egg retrieval, mature eggs are removed from the donor through a surgical procedure called transvaginal ultrasound aspiration. Egg donors are expected to spend around 60 hours for screening, testing, and medical appointments throughout the course of the procedure.

Egg donation, the process of assisted conception using donated eggs and the donor will be given hormones to get your fertility cycles synchronised, she needs to ovulate when the lining of your uterus can support an embryo. She will also be given fertility drugs to help develop several mature eggs for fertilisation. When the eggs are ready, the donor will be given sedation anaesthetic, and a doctor will remove the eggs using a fine, hollow needle. (An ultrasound helps the doctor locate the eggs.)  After this a IVF procedure is followed. In both egg and embryo donation the procedure at this point is the same.

Who might benefit?
- Women who have no ovaries or do not produce any eggs needs donated eggs or embryos to conceive.
- Women in their forties have a low chance of success with assisted conception treatments using their own eggs because egg quality declines with age. Using donated eggs is also an option sometimes taken up by older women.
- If other treatments such as IVF have been unsuccessful, some couples decide to pursue egg or embryo donation.
